Boarding

Our canine boarding area offers 32 indoor runs, 16 indoor/outdoor runs and numerous cages. We have a separate area which includes its own indoor playroom for our feline guests. Our kennels are attended year round to accommodate your holiday and travel needs.

Grooming

Our professional groomers offer more than 60 years of combined experience. They enjoy speaking to each client before the grooming process begins to insure that your pet’s individual needs are met. Our groomers are available six days a week.

Laser Therapy

Eads Animal Hospital offers some of the latest technologies available for bone, joint, and muscle/soft tissue pain. One innovative treatment modality is our Class IV Therapy Laser. This laser is commonly used along with other forms of pain management. The number of treatment sessions will vary depending on the problem. Chronic painful conditions can require five to six treatments in order to achieve a non-painful status. Then booster treatments maybe required every two to four weeks for maintenance therapy. Sometimes we are able to reduce or eliminate the need for other medications altogether.

The laser produces a beam of light which delivers energy to the muscles, joints, bones and skin. This decreases pain and inflammation at the site. It also reduces the number of bacteria and speeds up blood flow to the site which decrease healing times. It does not require anesthesia and sessions last three to eight minutes per site. The gentle warmth produced by the laser beam is generally soothing to the patient as well. Laser therapy has shown remarkable results in the aid of wound healing, chronic arthritis, surgical healing, post-operative pain, and spinal injuries.

MicroChip

Home Again is a pet identification and retrieval system. A microchip is injected between the shoulder blades of your pet. You, then, register with the national database. A lost pet can then be scanned at any participating animal shelter or hospital, and the owner will be notified of their location. Home Again provides a painless and inexpensive way to ensure the safety of your pet. Home Again also provides an ID tag bearing your pet’s microchip number and a toll-free phone number. These phones are manned 24 hours a day to allow individuals to aid in the return of your pet.

Pet Health Care

The professionals at Eads Animal Hospital believe that preventative health care is imperative to your pet’s health. We provide the latest in diagnostics and treatment, and our state-of-the-art equipment allows us to quickly detect problems. The proper nutrition for your individual pet also plays a large part in their health care plan. Our veterinarians also offer special programs for puppy and kitten care, senior care and weight management. The newest medications and pain management programs make your pet’s visit more comfortable.
